I am proud of us.

The red represents the vitality of the land and the people. The warmth, strength and energy of the sun, and the courage & friendliness of the people. The white stands for the sea by which the land is bound. The cradle of our heritage. The purity of national aspirations and the equality of all men. The black represents strength, unity and purpose. The natural wealth of the land. The dedication of the people joined together by one strong bond. Together the colours chosen represent the elements Earth , Water and Fire which encompass all our past, present and future and inspire us as one united, vital, free and dedicated people.
Richard Thompson is in the 100m final today.
*EDIT: SILVER, of course Bolt was phenomenal but then Jamaica always takes our limelight, lol. He worked hard and he deserves his win. Of course no BBC, no CNN, no media to focus on our athlete but that's ok...we don't need them.
